Purpose of johonfo.com
This website/system is designed to allow you (the user) to store your personal information and share what you want with who you want. You have high control over what you can share and with who.
The exact type of information you can currently store is basic, I.E. name, contact info, etc. but we'll be expanding your options frequently.
Use
By creating an account here, you are giving us permission to store information that you give us. You are also allowing us to share specific information with specific people per your instructions, given by filling out forms found on this website/system.
What information you store, what you share and with who is your business, not ours.
Privacy
You have control over what data you give us. Our job is simply to store it and share it based on your instructions.
As you are storing your personal information here, DO NOT share your login information with anyone. We are NOT responsible with what they do with your account.
If someone has stolen your login information, try to change your password, if possible, to regain control. Report it to us ASAP and we'll pursue the situation per our policy on crime (see below).
Employees do not have access to your information, except for the following situations.
- Support cases: When you open a case to handle a problem, appropriate employees will have access only to what's needed to contact you in the manner you requested, and triaging/fixing the issue you reported.
- Aggregate data: Basic data, I.E. qty of accounts, etc. is compiled for basic business needs, but none of this includes any names, or personal identifiable information.
- Crime reporting: If we have reason to believe a crime has occurred, deep research will occur that may involve your information. If this occurs you will be notified.
If we offer businesses ads in the future, they will be an opt-in situation, not opt-out. In other words, you'll never see paid ads on this website/system unless you want to. No part of the system will ever be restricted by not seeing ads. And those ads will NOT give personal data to the paying business, (except whatever you allow to share with them) nor allow them to track down anyone that does not use those ads to do business with them.
It is assumed that you are giving factually correct information. While most data is yours to edit as needed, because they naturally change over time, some data such as date of birth, sex, etc. are obviously unable to change. If you give bad information and require us to change it, we will charge a fee for this.
Payment
When you select a paid subscription and give us payment detail, you are giving us permission to charge that payment method to pay for your subscription.
You are also giving permission to use that payment information to charge any other fees that may be accrued (see correcting false data above).
As we expand our service, we may offer some services that will incur fees for use. When these services become available, the fee for them will be made clearly available before you use them.
Crime
We do not tolerate crime at all. Any crimes (I.E. information theft, etc) will be researched, documented, reported to police and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
We are not a "push it aside because it's cheaper to ignore it" type of company. Since our business is storage/dissemination of private, personal data, we do not have the luxury of allowing crimes.
If the data you store shows as being connected to a crime we have reported, you will be notified.
If we find that you are using this website/system to perform any crimes, we reserve the right to charge you extra fees to cover the cost researching, documenting and reporting and fighting said crimes.
